Kindle a Passion for Chinese Budding Lifelong Learners

A Chinese immersion preschool dedicated to nurturing confident, bilingual learners in a joyful, child-first environment.

Guided by Values,
Grounded in Vision

KinderBuds began with a mission—to close the real-world language gap. After living in China and experiencing how challenging it was to communicate despite a bilingual education, our founder created KinderBuds to give children a stronger, more immersive foundation in Chinese—balanced with English fluency.

Why KinderBuds Children
Love Learning & Speaking Mandarin

Mandarin isn’t just a subject here — it’s part of daily life.

At KinderBuds, our Chinese-immersion approach goes beyond flashcards and vocabulary lists. We make learning the language joyful, relevant, and lasting by integrating it into everything we do — play, stories, projects, and everyday conversation.

Our goal? To help your child speak Mandarin with confidence and develop a genuine love for the language by the time they enter Primary 1.

Why Parents choose KinderBuds

What makes Chinese immersion different from bilingual learning, and how does it benefit my child?

Our form teachers are all Chinese speaking teachers while our English teachers are subject teachers. The ratio of our curriculum delivered in Chinese from Playgroup to Nursery 2 is 70%, and 30% in English. The immersive experience helps the child develop the ability to listen, speak, read and write in the Chinese language confidently by the time they go to primary school. Our track record shows that all our children are fluent in the Chinese language by the time they go to Primary 1 regardless of race.

Yes. Hanyu Pinyin is part of our curriculum for Kindergarten 2 students.  This is to sufficiently prepare them for Primary 1.

Yes. Spelling starts from the Kindergarten level. Our spelling lists include commonly used words from the curriculum, helping children build a strong foundation and feel confident with the vocabulary they will see in primary school.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request for a centre visit?

You may request a visit to the centre by filling up the interest form directly on our website.  Alternatively, you can also call our student liaison officer to help you book a centre of your choice.

Most of our teachers are from China, Singapore and Malaysia.   All our core teachers have minimally a Diploma in Early Childhood.  All our principals possess a leadership qualification in early childhood over and above their teaching qualification and have numerous years of experience in the profession.  All our teachers also received in house trainings to ensure quality and consistent teaching methodology.

Absolutely!  We believe that children need to explore their surroundings.  Our school have access to a private playground and provide opportunity for sand play, water play and other wonderful sensory activities.  Our learning spaces are also in abundance in our outdoor play area and provide support to our children well-being.

We primarily use the Diibear App for communication between parents and class teachers on non-urgent matters concerning the child. Teachers will also use the Diibear App to communicate updates concerning the child’s learning progress. Important announcements are also sent via the app. For any urgent matters, parents may reach the school via WhatsApp or phone call.

Yes, this is provided through an external transport provider.  Parents are encouraged to liaise with the school bus vendor directly for routes and bus fees information.  Our principal will be happy to provide you the contact information.

We endeavour to provide our children a well-balanced diet.  They will be served meals in accordance with guidelines set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) for the Healthy Meals in Preschool Programme (HMMP).  Pork, mutton and beef are excluded for health and religious reasons.

Depending on the programme your child is enrolled in, children are served breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily.  Our menus are displayed on the notice board.  Food served may vary slightly due to the availability of food items due to seasonal nature.  Our food is prepared directly by our in house cook.  We discourage children to bring their own food unless there are strict dietary need and food allergies.

If your child has food allergies or special dietary restrictions, either for health reasons certified by a registered medical practitioner or for religious reasons, please notify our preschool immediately in writing.  Our staff will discuss with you how best we can assist.

In the event of a communicable disease outbreak, we will increase the frequency of health and temperature checks as well as monitor the children and staff closely for any symptoms of the disease.

Children and staff who are unwell are strongly advised to seek medical attention promptly and rest at home until they are fully recovered.  We will also step up on our cleaning/hygiene routines, suspend large group activities and carry out precautionary measure to minimize the spread of the illness.

The school adopt a clear and transparent communication policy.  Parents will be notified of the outbreak through the various channels we have and be updated of any related developments.  We will also notify the relevant regulatory agencies and comply with any instructions to safeguard our children’s and staff well-being.

We’re excited to meet you
and your little one!
